A Sterling Silver fully Hallmarked heavy gauge one pint Jacobean style Tankard. This silver tankard is in pristine unused condition so has probably spent its life in the original box in a cupboard. It will however be supplied in a nice new satin lined gift box so will make a superb presentation item that can also be engraved. Hallmarked in 1968 by Birmingham assay office with a "T" date letter and manufactured by well known Birmingham silversmiths J B Chatterly and son our tankard weighs 356 grammes which is over 12.5 ounces so this is no lightweight.
