A Hallmarked Sterling Silver heavy gauge one pint Georgian Tankard. This silver tankard is in pristine condition so has probably spent its life in the original box in a cupboard. It will however be supplied in a nice new satin lined gift box so will make a superb presentation item that can also be engraved. Hallmarked originally in 1973 by the Birmingham assay office with a "Y"  date letter and manufactured by makers Bishtons limited our tankard weighs 390 grammes which is nearly 14 ounces so this is no lightweight.
